Condenser coils

The first thing worth checking is condenser coils. Usually, they located under the fridge. The main function of coils is to dissipate heat, so it is easier for the fridge to cool down. If you find them dirty, you can fix it on your own. To clean the faulty part, simply unscrew it and clean the dust and debris using a vacuum cleaner. Also, you can buy a cleaning brush and foam to perform a more efficient job. Preferably, condenser coils need to be cleaned twice a year.

Evaporator fan motor

The evaporator fan circulates cold air throughout the freezer and refrigerator compartment. If the fan motor is at fault, it would prevent your fridge from maintaining the appropriate temperature. To fix this problem you need to replace the fan motor. Firstly, find the location of the evaporator fan assembly. For the most Sub-Zero models, it is located in the freezer compartment. To access and replace the assembly, the freezer air duct and evaporator cover will need to be removed. Then disconnect the fan motor wiring, tilt the assembly forward and pull the motor out.
